SİVAS’TA İŞYERİ ADLANDIRMALARI İLE İLGİLİ BAZI TESPİTLER

ÖZET

Canlı cansız bütün nesnelerin, kavramların adını tespit ve tahlil edip sonuçlandıran adbilim (onomastik), başta dilbilim olmak üzere, sos­yoloji, halkbilim, hukuk gibi pek çok alanın ilgisi içerisindedir. Ül­kemizde, bu konuda yapılan çalışmaların yeterli olduğunu söyleyeme­yiz. Adlandırmalar konusunda yapılacak her çalışmanın adbilim alanına büyük katkılar sağlayacağına da şüphemiz yoktur.

Sunulacak bildirinin konusu da bu düşünceden doğmuştur. Örnek olarak Çalışma alanı olarak Sivas merkezindeki işyerleri seçilmiştir. İşyeri adlandırmaları konusu ele alınırken farklı semtlerdeki iş yerleri ile temasa geçilmiş, konulan isimlerin sebebi sorulmuştur. Ortaya işye­ri adlandırmaları ile ilgili olarak çok boyutlu bir tablo çıkmıştır. Bil­diride ele alınan konu bütün cepheleri ile incelenmiş ve bir sonuca va­rılmıştır.

ABSTRACT

Onomastics, as a study of proper names of all kinds and the origins of names, is related with lots of studies like sociology folklore, law and es­pecially linguislics. We cannot say there are sufficient 

works on this study in our country. We have no doubt in every work that will be made on naming will have positively effect on onomastics.

The subject of this study has been came up from this thought. The workplaces in centre of Sivas have been selected as research area.

While approaching the subject of naming of workplaces, it has been contacted workplaces in different locations and it has been asked the reason of given name of workplaces. Consequently, it is emerged a multi-faceted table related with naming of workplaces. The subject taken on this study has been researched in terms of all aspects and got­ten to a conclusion.
