GEÇ ORTAÇAĞ HABERLEŞME TARİHÎ AÇISINDAN AHÎ TEKKELERİ

ÖZET

Ortaçağlar boyunca haberleşme ve bilgi akışı, çok farklı yöntem ve araçlarla sağlanıyordu. Devletlerin kendi haber alma ihtiyaçlarım karşılayan farklı kapsam ve gelişmişlik düzeylerinde haberleşme teş­kilâtları bulunuyordu. Devlet teşkilâtı dışındaki toplumsal gruplar, haberleşme gereksinimlerini başka vasıtalarla sağlamak durumunday­dılar. Her bir toplumsal grup ya da örgüt, kendi yapısından kaynak­lanan bir haber alma sistemine sahipti. Yine her bir toplumsal grup başka gruplar açısından bir haber kaynağı niteliği taşıyabiliyordu. Ahilik, Geç Ortaçağ Anadolu ’sundaki önde gelen örgütsel yapılardan birini oluşturmak hasebiyle bu haberleşme ve bilgi akışı sistemi içinde büyük bir öneme sahiptir. Her bir Ahi tekkesinin hem diğer Ahi gruplarıyla hem de seyyah, âlim, tüccar vb. grup ve kişilerle çeşitli iliş­kileri bulunuyordu. Bu ilişkiler ağı sayesindedir ki Ahi tekkeleri, ha­ber alma ve haberin dağılımı süreçlerinde çok önemli bir fonksiyon taşıyordu. Tebliğde, söz konusu dönemin başlıca tarihî kaynakların­dan hareketle, Ahi tekkelerinin, haberleşme tarihi açısından taşıdığı bu rolün ortaya konulması amaçlanmaktadır.

ABSTRACT

During the medieval age, communication and information flow were provided by various methods and instruments. Governments had communication organisations established for their own needs. But so­cial groups had to solve their communication problems throughout other instruments. Every social group organisation had a communica­tion system emanated from its own structure. On the other hand, each social group functioned as a news source for other similar groups or or­ganizations. As one of the leading organisational structures of the Late Medieval Anatolia, Akhism had a prominent role in this communica­tion and information flow system. Every akhi convent had various re­lations with both the other convents and people or groups like travel­lers, scholars, merchants, etc. This network enabled akhi convents to function a seminal role in the communication processes. The aim of this paper is to define this role of akhi convents in the history of com­munication by referring to the main historical resources of the period.
