THE IMPORTANCE AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE AKHISM ORGANIZATION AND CORPORATE GOVERNANCE PRINCIPLES

ÖZET

Çalışmada, tarihimizde önemli bir yer tutan “Ahilik” ile günümüz küresel ekonomisinde neredeyse tüm dünyayı etkisi altına alan “Kurumsal Yönetim” arasındaki ilişki ele alınmıştır. İnsanlık tarihinde devletlerin ve toplumların hayatlarını düzenleyen farklı kurumlar olmuştur. Bunlardan bir tanesi de Ahilik teşkilatıdır. Kurumsal olarak büyük bir teşkilat olan Ahilik, 13.-18. yüzyıllar arasında birçok alanda etkili olmuş bir yapıdır. Çalışmada, kurumsal yönetim ilkelerinin neler olduğu, bu ilkelerin ortaya çıkma sebebi, tarihsel gelişimi ve kurumsal yönetim ilkelerinin günümüzde işletmeler için önemi ve uygulamaları incelenmiştir. Tarihimizde derin izler bırakan Ahilik Teşkilatının ilke ve uygulamaları ile kurumsal yönetiminin dört temel ilkesi olan adillik, şeffaflık, hesap verebilirlik ve sorumluluk ana ilkeleri karşılaştırılmıştır. Ahilik ilkelerinin günümüzde insan, ekonomi, rekabet, yönetim, denetim, sosyal sorumluluk, kalite ve müşteri memnuniyeti gibi konularda etkilerinin olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

ABSTRACT

The study, the relationship between "Akhism", which has an important place in our history, and "Corporate Governance", which affects almost the whole world in today's global economy, is discussed. In the history of humanity, there have been different institutions that regulate the lives of states and societies. One of them is the Akhism Organization. Akhism organization 13.-18. it is an effective structure in many areas over the centuries. In the study, what corporate governance principles are, the reason these principles arise, historical development, and the importance and practices of corporate governance principles for businesses are examined.The principles and practices of the Akhism Organization, which left deep traces in our history, and the four basic principles of corporate governance, fairness, transparency, accountability and responsibility, were compared. It has been determined that the principles of Akhism have effects on subjects such as people, economy, competition, management, control, social responsibility, quality and customer satisfaction.
